We are Hiring! Canadian Army Reserve to host open house and job fair at Cormack Armoury
Red Deer- National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces
The public is invited to the Canadian Army (CA) Reserve Open House and Job Fair at Cormack Armoury where we will be showcasing the many employment opportunities available in the Army Reserve. Visitors can view interactive displays and participate in activities throughout the day. Interested individuals will also be able to apply on location. This is a great time to ask questions of the soldiers that are on hand throughout the day. It’s a fun and exciting day and it’s a great way to learn about what a career in the Army Reserve is all about.
The Army Reserves offer great leadership opportunities, where Canadians can learn many new and transferable skills that they can apply in their existing careers and daily lives; all while proudly serving their country. Recruiting new members to the Army Reserves is a nation-wide Army effort under Strong, Secure, Engaged: Canada’s Defence Policy. The Government of Canada has committed to increasing the size of the Reserve Force to 30,000 (an increase of 1,500) and to reduce the length of time it takes for an individual to join the Reserve Force to approximately 30 days.
When: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., September 29, 2018
Where: Cormack Armoury, 4402 – 55th St. Red Deer
Hosted by 20th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA and 41 Signal Regiment, the Open House offers visitors an opportunity to visit military and equipment vehicle displays, and talk with soldiers to learn more about Canada’s Army Reserve.
