What Is It?

A game of elimination with the potential to win lots of wine & more! That’s right this time around we have added a twist! Wine not your thing, maybe its craft beer or a favorite spirit? This year the winners will collect liquor store gift cards so they can make their own choice!

What Can You Win?

NEW THIS YEAR!! As a team member, you have six chances to win a boat-load of wine, spirits and more! In the end the winners get to choose.

How Does TLC Win?

As in past wine survivors TLC wins by collecting your $20 registration fee!

How Do You Play?

Join a team or pick 5 friends and start your own team. Each team must appoint a Team Captain who will keep the other team members informed.

Here Is How It Works:

  • Each team must have 6 members and they will give their team a fun name. TLC will assign each team member their own unique number once we receive the Team Registration Form.
  • Your team will not be registered until ALL team members have submitted their $20 registration fee and their $20 liquor store gift card, or $40 to cover both. No exceptions!
  • Each team member pays $20 and contributes a $20 liquor store gift card or pays $40 and has TLC purchase your liquor store gift card.
  • Your team captain will collect your money, liquor store gift cards and email addresses. If you prefer, you can choose to pay $40 ($20 to play and $20 for the liquor store gift card) directly to your team captain who will purchase your card for you.

Important Dates

  • Download your application package here.
  • Friday, March 6th, 2020
    Your registration fee, liquor store gift card and email address must be submitted to your team captain.
  • Monday, March 9th, 2020
    All teams must be registered, paid in full (including liquor store gift card) and delivered to TLC no later than  (TLC is opened Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm).
  • Friday, March 13th, 2020
    Draws will begin on  and will be held daily until the final draws are made on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
  • Tuesday, March 17, 2020
    Final Draw

Here Is The Twist:

Let us make it even easier for you. Provide $40 to your Captain and the Captain can bring us all the money and we’ll take care of purchasing the liquor store gift cards!

You can increase your odds of winning by joining more than one team! Just remember that you will need to pay the $20 registration fee and provide a $20 liquor store gift card
each time you join a team.

Early Christmas gift for winner of Downtown Red Deer $5,000.00 shopping spree

Local Red Deer woman wins $5000 downtown Red Deer giveaway.

The Red Deer Downtown Business Association (DBA) is pleased to announce that a winner of the “It’s Downtown!” downtown shopping spree.

The “It’s Downtown!” campaign was created to encourage Red Deer residents and visitors to support local downtown Red Deer businesses. From August 3 to November 13, 2020 visitors to the downtown core had the opportunity to enter their name into draw boxes at 54 different downtown businesses for their chance to win a $5000 downtown shopping spree.

Local Red Deer woman, Lynda Cartwright, was the lucky winner of the $5000 giveaway which consisted of $100 gift cards from the businesses that were ballot drop off locations. She had entered her winning ballot at housewarmings.

The DBA would like to thank the downtown businesses that participated in this campaign as well as everyone who entered the giveaway.

The Downtown Business Association has been operating in Red Deer for over 30 years, serving approximately five-hundred business owners in the Downtown area. Through partnerships and leadership in advocacy and promotion, the DBA is the catalyst for a vibrant and prosperous downtown that is the place to live, work, play and do business.

Draw for Downtown Red Deer’s $5000 giveaway to take place November 19!

The Red Deer Downtown Business Association (DBA) is excited to announce that on Thursday, November 19, they will be drawing a winner for the $5000 “It’s Downtown!” giveaway.

The “It’s Downtown!” campaign was created to encourage Red Deer residents and visitors to support local downtown Red Deer businesses. From August 3 to November 13, 2020 visitors to the downtown core had the opportunity to enter their name into draw boxes at 54 different downtown businesses for their chance to win a $5000 downtown shopping spree.

The first draw will take place at 9:00 a.m. and the name drawn will have two hours to claim their prize before another name is drawn at 11:00 a.m. You can watch the draw live from the Downtown Red Deer Facebook and Twitter pages.
