Active COVID cases in Red Deer down slightly

Published

1 minute read

Todays AHS COVID-19 report has hit the airwaves.
The Central Zone had a slightly lower number of new cases reported today with 106. There were also 101 recoveries cited, this has resulted in a small increase of just 5 active cases in the region.
(Now at 1594)
There are now 62 people in hospitals up 5 from last report, and 1 less individual in ICU. (Down from 5 to 4)
Even better news regarding our precious city of Red Deer. We had just 16 new cases reported but for the third time in 5 days we had 30 or more recoveries in a single day with 33 reported this afternoon. This resulted in our active case count decreasing from 425 to 408! That’s the right direction folks.
Let’s all keep up the fight against this monster and continue to think positive. We shall overcome.
