Sylvan Lake & District Archives Society

To keep alive the history of the community, the Sylvan Lake & District Archives Society have placed markers at historic sites and the former Heart of Town Association had commissioned several works of art with historic themes, including both sculptures and murals.

Discover Sylvan Lake’s rich history with the Sylvan Lake & District Archives and the Sylvan Lake Municipal Library. The Sylvan Lake News and Discover Sylvan Lake Magazine are excellent sources of information. Also be sure to check out the bookmark “Sylvan Lake History” at the Sylvan Lake Library as well as local history books, “Reflections of Sylvan Lake” and “Recollections Beyond Reflections”. Maps of the town are available in the Discover Sylvan Lake Magazine as well as the Chamber of Commerce.
