Susan Samson – 2017 Women of Excellence Nominee
Sylvan Lake is one of the most dynamic communities in Canada, and Susan Samson has been one of the many reasons why. As a business owner and then Mayor, Samson has spent a great part of her life and her energy promoting all things Sylvan Lake. Under her guidance the town enjoyed explosive growth, attracting thousands of families as permanent residents while balancing the needs of millions of tourists. Now Susan Samson is being honoured by the Red Deer & District Community Foundation with a nomination as a 2017 Woman of Excellence.
