  • The Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off is coming April 14th and the brave souls who’ve stepped up to help raise money for the Canada Games Celebration Plaza are in full practice and fundraising mode.  You can help them out.

Todd Simenson is Stantec’s Regional Leader for Alberta North and the Territories.  He began his career with Stantec 30 years ago in Saskatoon, then moved to Whitehorse in 1988.  In 1999 he moved his family from Whitehorse to Red Deer, where he is now managing and mentoring teams working on some of Stantec’s largest and most-unique infrastructure projects.

As you’ll hear in his interview, Todd is a team player and he’s really passionate his community. When not working or dancing you can find Todd enjoying his other passions including coaching and supporting his kid’s sports.

    My Story…

It’s a little-known fact that Engineers can dance, and at the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off 2018, I will show the world it’s true. I’m Todd Simenson, Stantec’s Vice President for Alberta North and Territories in Red Deer. I have been part this amazing community for 19 years and I’ve always been proud of how everyone comes together to support good causes and major community events. Our office supports many charities and causes in Central Alberta and I’m thrilled to put my dance skills to the test in support of the 2019 Canada Winter Games.

Sports has always been an important part of my family’s life, and I’ve remained active as a competitor, coach, and spectator in sports like hockey, lacrosse, and boxing my entire life.

I am excited for the upcoming 2019 Canada Winter Games and honoured to be part of the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off 2018. Red Deer is Ready, and I will be too!
