No rest for Celebrity Dancers preparing for the 2019 Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off

Published

2 minute read

Here’s a hilarious post from the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off Facebook page.. just to remind you that this event is coming up next month!

Dr Isaac is working hard before the big day in April! Gotta get that practice in between patients ?

A competitive fundraiser for a great cause? I’m all in!
I am the founder of Day Dental and we have the best dental team and patients ever. With their support, we will keep the Mirror Ball trophy where it belongs…in Innisfail!
While Innisfail has been home for my family and me for the last 7 years, I was born and raised in Edmonton where I completed my Bachelor of Medical Science and my Doctor of Dental Surgery. After working in Edmonton, my wife and I packed up our kids and moved to Central Alberta.
I enjoy different experiences, personally and professionally, from working in a cosmetically driven dental practice in Edmonton to being the dentist at the Bowden Prison. When a new experience presents itself, the answer is YES. So when the opportunity to participate in the Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off presented itself, I knew I couldn’t turn it down.
I am looking forward to helping this great cause, and to trying something new and exciting, and most definitely out of my comfort zone!

A special thanks to Sinclair Dental Suppliers and Rotary Club of Innisfail for your generous donations. We are working hard to support the worthy cause of the Friends of the Red Deer Regional Hospital.

From the Waskasoo Environmental Education Society

Formerly called the Red Deer River Cleanup, the Green Deer River Valley Cleanup will take place at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre from 12:00–3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

This annual spring initiative draws volunteers from across the city to join forces to keep our waterways clean and safe by spending the afternoon picking up litter near the Red Deer River and in the surrounding river valley.

Refreshments and prize raffle to follow litter cleanup! There will be over $1500 in prizes for volunteers; including two grand prizes donated by NOVA Chemicals. Each grand prize includes one full-size patio heater.

How it works:

1. Meet at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre field any time between 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 1:00 p.m. to receive your supplies and begin cleaning litter along your assigned route. Children 12 & under must attend with an adult.

2. Return to the Kerry Wood Nature Centre between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to hand in your unused supplies and enjoy some light refreshments.

3. Prize raffle will begin shortly after 3:00 p.m.
