Red Deer County Hosting More Open Houses Regarding Multi-Lot Country Residential Development
By Sheldon Spackman
The next in a series of open houses regarding Multi-Lot Country Residential Developments in Red Deer County continues on Monday evening, November 28th.
The open houses are being held across the County to obtain public input on the future direction of these developments within the County. Officials say four years have passed since the adoption of the Municipal Development Plan, so the County is now in the process of reviewing policies pertaining to multi-lot country residential development. These policies could have an impact on those who may be proposing a multi-lot country residential development in the future or those who may be impacted by this form of development.
The next open house takes place at the Spruce View Community Hall on November 28th from 5:00 – 7:30 pm, with a Town Hall meeting to follow the open house at that location. It will be led by Councillor Richard Lorenz from Division 5. It’s a chance for residents to ask questions and share ideas.
The third open house will be on Wednesday, November 3oth from 5:00 – 7:30pm at the Red Deer County Centre.
The Open Houses are a drop-in format with County staff on hand to answer your questions.
