Festival of Trees Supporting Medical Specialties Clinic
Red Deer’s Grant Kozak has been dealing with the effects of Parkinsons Disease for over 20 years. One of those effects has been logging thousands of hours on the QE-2 for regular medical treatments in Edmonton and Calgary.
Often these trips would see Grant and his wife Trena dropping into a Medical Specialty Clinic where a variety of health care practitioners would be seen in one clinic location.
The Red Deer Health Foundation has made Medical Specialty Clinic the focus of 2016 Festival of Trees. This is the second year of a two year project aiming to provide an expansion and complete renovation of Red Deer’s Medical Specialty Clinic. This should enable the clinic to see more patients, and to treat more diseases locally… including Parkinson’s Disease.
Please click here to see Grant Kozak’s story and learn how the 2016 Festival of Trees will improve the lives of thousands of Central Albertans every year.
