Having grown up in the small hamlet of Fort Assiniboine, AB., it did my heart good to see this story on CTV Edmonton this week. The Athabasca Canoe Brigade arrived at the small historic hamlet 2 hours northwest of Edmonton after 6 fun-filled days of paddling down the mighty Athabasca River.
I enjoyed reading this blog from Tracy Pandachuck as she describes the river ride. It looked like a blast!
