PONOKA RCMP – Liquor Store Armed Robbery

Ponoka, Alberta – The Ponoka RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating four suspects involved in an armed robbery at “The Liquor Store” on 54th Street in Ponoka.

On October 30th at approximately 7:50 P.M., the Ponoka RCMP responded to an armed robbery at the Ponoka Liquor Store where an undisclosed amount of cash and liquor were taken. 

Four young males, wearing all black with balaclavas covering their faces, entered the store.  One male was carrying a sawed off bolt-action rifle.

Numerous bottles of alcohol were taken from the shelves while the armed male walked the clerk to her till and emptied it of cash.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

No one was harmed in this incident.
