Smoke!
I think we have all had enough smoke! If we want to look on the bright side, there is a “smoke” that’s the good kind . . . and that’s smoked meat from Caroline Meats. I discovered Thomas’ smoked pork chops at the Red Deer Market and I’ve been back more than once for another package. They are DELICIOUS.
As with all of the vendors, Thomas has an interesting story (some of which he shares in the video) and a wide variety of tasty, local offerings (many of which are also shown). And, as with many of the vendors, neighbours at the Market get to know one another and become friends. In this case, Reanne, the Culligan gal whose stall is next to Thomas’s, will begin distributing Caroline Meats in Red Deer this winter.
