As the 2017 Women of Excellence Awards approach, nominee Janice Wing knows exactly what the people at the Red Deer & District Community Foundation are going through. Wing is a former Executive Director of the Foundation. In fact it was under her leadership that the Women of Excellence Awards came into being 10 years ago. A decade later, Janice Wing is on the senior administration team at Red Deer College. An institution on the verge of change as RDC awaits word from the province on a request to take on University Status. It seems where ever Wing goes, things happen.
