Red Deer Christmas Bureau is in need!

While most of us shiver through the winter, longing for the warm long spring days ahead.. some local volunteers are thinking ahead to next Christmas already. In 2018 the Red Deer Christmas Bureau helped over 1000 children and their families celebrate Christmas with gifts and a full Christmas dinner, ensuring everyone can create beautiful memories at this special time of year.
The Christmas Bureau is a 100% Volunteer Based Organization. And the volunteering is year round. In fact, right now they’re putting a crew together to help with something they call the “Doll House Program”. If you like the idea of giving back, and especially if you’d like to provide a little person with a special doll or barbie next Christmas, please contact the Red Deer Christmas Bureau. The Doll House volunteers are gathering Monday’s and Wednesdays in the morning at 9 am. Here’s a comment from Teresa Kutynek, Director of the Red Deer Christmas Bureau Society. Contact Teresa at 403-347-2210 for more information.
If you have some time this fall, consider another program offered by the Red Deer Christmas Bureau… The Baby Basket program provides hampers for expectant moms.. and new moms. Watch this video for more information.
