Meet Tracy Gardner – 2017 Woman of Excellence “Agriculture”

When your passion and your work line up perfectly, the results can be pretty special. This is the case for Tracy Gardner. Tracy grew up on the family farm near Olds. She’s been advocating for agriculture her whole life and she finds herself in the perfect job to indulge her passion on a daily basis.

Tracy is Event Manager at the Olds Regional Exhibition. With several buildings and facilities, the Exhibition is home to over 700 events a year.. many of them promoting and celebrating agriculture.

Tracy Gardner has been named 2017 Woman of Excellence in the Agriculture category.

After 15 years as a TV reporter with Global and CBC and as news director of RDTV in Red Deer, Duane set out on his own 2008 as a visual storyteller. During this period, he became fascinated with a burgeoning online world and how it could better serve local communities. This fascination led to Todayville, launched in 2016.
