The provincial 4 A and 3 A volleyball championships will have plenty of Red Deer flavour this week.  The Hunting Hills Senior Girls team goes into play as the top team from Central Alberta after knocking off Lindsay Thurber in a thrilling series. The 4 A championship is in Edmonton starting Wednesday.

In 4 A Senior Boys competition… Lindsay Thurber took the city crown from Notre Dame.  The Raiders go into the Provincial Championship ranked 2nd in Alberta!  Their tournament is also in Edmonton.

In the 3 A Provincial Championships, St. Joseph High School is new on the scene.  The St. Joseph High School Falcons Senior Girls Volleyball team has had an amazing season.  St. Joseph High School is only three-years-old and this team is young in comparison to other teams in their zone.
