About the Candidate

Raised in rural Alberta, I know the value of hard work & community, which have guided my actions during my 16 yrs in Red Deer. I consistently demonstrate a commitment to supporting, fostering growth & assuming leadership roles in initiatives that benefit Red Deer. I’m now poised to bring my enthusiasm & diverse skill set to City Council. I’ll leverage my experiences & insights to enhance the lives of all residents, building a stronger, more inclusive community for generations to come.

Public Service Committed to bringing all voices, priorities & concerns to the the council table. The privilege of serving you will never be taken for granted.
Budget & Taxation Committed to transparent conversations about the complex choices that need to be made & prioritizing the services that enhance the well-being & success of our citizens & community.
Advocacy Committed to standing against the downloading of responsibilities & reduced per capita funding from other levels of government, that has resulted in ever increasing financial & service burdens.
A Better City For ALL Committed to ensuring the decisions we make & the path we take, proves that Red Deer truly values all who call Red Deer home.
Moving Forward Committed to learning from & honouring the past, not being stuck in it. Mindfully addressing current needs so that we can be pro-active while focusing on building a vibrant, prosperous & sustainable future for our city.

Red Deer voters will have many opportunities to cast their ballot in this By-Election. Advance Vote will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from April 18 to 20. Voters will be able to select one of three Advance Vote locations at Parkland Mall, Baymont by Wyndham Red Deer or Westerner Park. The same voting stations will be open for voters from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on By-Election Day, April 22.

With 100% voting stations reporting, Red Deerians have elected a new City Councillor during The City’s first ever by-election.
