Full Residential Plow Getting Underway In Sylvan Lake
Recent snowfall has triggered a full residential snow plow (D routes). The Town of Sylvan Lake is reminding residents to watch for “No Parking” signage, which are valid up to 72 hours after placement.
Full residential clearing is triggered after 50 cm of snow accumulation, or after a single snow fall event of 30 cm. The target for completion is within 14 days of that trigger. Windrows created by plowing that results in blocked access to driveways, mailboxes, fire hydrants, or crosswalks will be opened and cleared again within one hour.
Snow removal and ice control activities are posted online at http://www.sylvanlake.ca/publicnotices
and the full Snow and Ice Control Policy is available at http://www.sylvanlake.ca/utilities/snow-removal.
The Town thanks the public for their patience and cooperation at this time.
