Fred Penner to perform free concert in Red Deer during Alberta Culture Days

This is bound to bring out the kid in all of us!
The City of Red Deer is pleased to present Canadian children’s music performer Fred Penner in a free concert Saturday, September 29, 2018 during Alberta Culture Days.
Best known for his role on Fred Penner’s Place which aired for 12 seasons on CBC, Penner has also produced 12 children’s albums, three of which received Juno awards for Children’s Album of the Year.
“We’re excited for this rare opportunity to showcase such a talented performer in our city,” said Caryn Ouwehand, Special Events Programmer. “Fred Penner can communicate with children and families in such a fun and meaningful way. He is an iconic example of Canadian culture and an ideal fit for Alberta Culture Days.”
