Festival Of Trees Tickets Now On Sale
By Sheldon Spackman
Tickets are now on sale for an annual holiday event that benefits the Red Deer Regional Hospital each year.
The 23rd annual Festival of Trees takes place at Red Deer’s Westerner Park from November 23rd to 27th and since it’s inception has raised over $12.9 million dollars for the hospital so far.
This year, fundraising efforts will go to enhancing client care and services in the Medical Specialty Clinic at the hospital. It’s the second phase of a two phase project, with phase one being fully funded from last year’s events.
Things kick-off with the Preview Dinner on November 23rd, then continue with Appreciation Afternoon, Festival of Business Lunch and the Taste of Red Deer on November 24th. The Festival of Wines takes place on November 25th. Tis the Season Luncheon, Mistletoe Magic and the Festive 5K Walk & Run on November 26th. Breakfast with Santa is November 27th.
