Red Deer River Naturalists Annual Banquet – October 25, 2019 held at the Pioneer Lodge, 4324 – 46A Avenue Red Deer, Alberta. Tickets are $35.00 and available for purchase at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre until Monday October 21. You must purchase your ticket in advance they are not available at the door. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., dinner 6:30 p.m., Speaker following dinner, catering by Blue Sage Kitchen.
Speaker Dr. Sandra Black, Head Veterinarian from the Calgary Zoo/Clinical Associate Professor, Zoo and Wildlife Medicine, University of Calgary to talk about a monitoring program for the health of Narwhal, Dolphin and Union Caribou in the Arctic.
