Eco-Buffers and shelterbelts are tree-based systems with the potential to do all of these things and more. With the help of Luke Wonneck of the Agroforestry & Woodlot Extension Society, Red Deer County is hosting a workshop where participants will learn the about the differences between Eco-Buffers and shelterbelts, the various benefits they can provide, and some basic principles for designing and establishing one.
