Collicutt Water Park Re-Opening November 12th
By Sheldon Spackman
Great news for Red Deerians who enjoy a little time in the water.
After ten weeks of being closed for extensive renovations, the Collicutt Centre Water Park is re-opening on Saturday, November 12th.
In a release, City officials say the facility was repainted, with the ceiling and wall acoustic tiles replaced as well. Tile work was also completed around the hot tubs and improvements were made to the filtration and water circulation systems. Staff also conducted inspections, cleaning and maintenance of all pool equipment and technical systems.
The water playground however, will re-open the week of November 21st as new water filter components are still needed.
