Starting this Thursday, July 6, spray parks will once again be popping up in neighbourhoods across the city.

Red Deerians are invited to join Red Deer Emergency Services as they use fire engines to create temporary spray parks every Thursday evening throughout July and August. Municipal Policing Services and Red Deer RCMP will also be joining to offer police vehicle tours.

Pop-up spray parks will run from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the following locations for summer 2023:

  • July 6 – Grandview Gardens / Escuela Vista Grande School (4510 41 Ave)
  • July 13 – St. Theresa of Avila School (190 Glendale Blvd)
  • July 20 –  Mountview School (4331 34 St)
  • July 27 –  Riverside Meadows – Fairview School (5901 55 St)
  • August 3 – Rosedale Meadows (2 Roland St)
  • August 10 – Bower Kin Community Centre (85 Boyce St)
  • August 17 – Highland Green Park (65 Halladay Ave)
  • August 24 – Ironstone Neighbourhood Park (70 Inglewood Dr)
  • August 31 – Ecole Oriole Park School (5 Oldbury St)

Events are weather dependent and will not go ahead if weather warnings are in place. Please make sure to check The City’s social media pages each Thursday for updates.
