It’s important for Children to understand various financial concepts. Building Futures is a program that integrates basic economic and financial education into curriculum in grades 4-10. November is Financial Literacy Month. This year’s theme “Take charge of your finances: It pays to know!” encourages Canadians to take concrete actions to better manage their money and debt, including making a budget, having a savings plan and understanding their financial rights and responsibilities.
