Massed Band Concert In Red Deer Tonight! (Jan 30)
All middle school band students (Grades 6-9) in the Red Deer Catholic Regional School Division will come together to play in a band concert on January 30, 2017 at the Radisson Hotel in Red Deer from 5:00 – 5:45 p.m.
“This is a wonderful event, as it develops a sense of community across schools through a shared love of music,” said Tim Brehaut, coordinator of Massed Band Day.
Leading up to the concert, the students will be able to experience some musical hands-on learning through clinics, rehearsals and activities. Also, the songs in the band concert are given at the beginning of that day. Therefore, the students are able to spend the day practicing and perfecting the songs.
