Shed Your Threads – October 1, Copper Lane Hair Studio
Shed Your Threads is a pop-up consignment shop that supports your style and your community. Started by two students, Elysha Snider and Chelsey Key, and hosted by local businessowner, Lane Tomalty of Copper Lane Hair Studio, Shed Your Threads is the first event of its kind. An affair that seeks to support every person involved, Shed Your Threads will be selling gently used clothing and accessories donated by the women of Red Deer. The proceeds will be given to the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter, and all of the items that do not sell will be donated to Vantage Community Services’s Street Ties program for homeless youth. If that weren’t enough, Woven Stone Co. and Birch Artisan Studio will be contributing bracelets for giveaways, and three local businesses (Earls Red Deer, Cutie Pies, and Edible Arrangements) will be providing treats, so you can snack and sip while you shop! Is there anything better?!
Shed Your Threads takes place at Copper Lane Hair Studio Sunday, October 1, from 11 am to 3 pm.
It’s in your closet to give, and we hope to see you there!
