Red Deer’s Festival Of Trees – Day 5
By Sheldon Spackman
It’s day five of Red Deer’s 23rd annual Festival of Trees at Westerner Park.
The major fundraising event is a great way to enjoy the Holiday Season and help out a great cause at the same time. Numerous activities are taking place throughout the five day event, with all the money raised going towards enhancing client care and services in the Medical Specialty Clinic at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. This is phase two of a two phase project. Phase one was fully funded by the 2015 Festival where over one million dollars was raised.
Activities on Sunday, November 27th include the annual Breakfast with Santa at the Prairie Pavilion.
Several Auctions and Raffles will also be taking place throughout the festivities.
