Red Deer County Seeking Input On Multi-Lot Country Residential Developments

Red Deer County is inviting members of the public to a series of open houses being held across the County to obtain public input on the future direction of multi-lot country residential developments within the County.
In a release, County officials say four years have passed since the adoption of the Municipal Development Plan and the County is now in the process of reviewing policies pertaining to multi-lot country residential developments.
They say these policies could have an impact on those who may be proposing a multi-lot country residential development in the future or those who may be impacted by this form of development.
Open houses are scheduled for the Lousana Community Hall on Thursday, November 24th from 5:00 – 7:30pm, the Spruce View Community Hall on November 28th from 5:00 – 7:30pm and at Red Deer County Centre on November 30th from 5:00 – 7:30pm.
The Open Houses will be a drop-in format with County staff on hand to answer your questions. For more information, contact Ron Barr, the Long Range Planning Manager for Red Deer County at 403 – 350 – 2170.
