Marchant Crane Centrium Unveiled at Westerner Park

Westerner Park proudly announced today a major milestone in its evolution, unveiling the new Marchant Crane Centrium as part of an exciting naming rights partnership with Central Alberta-based company Marchant Crane.
In front of community leaders, key stakeholders, staff, family members and media, the announcement marks a bold new chapter for both organizations, reflecting a shared commitment to local investment, pride, and long-term growth in the region.
“What you see on that sign is the result of vision, energy, and a conversation that started many months ago,” said Shelly Flint, CEO of Westerner Park. “Chris Marchant came to us with a genuine belief in what this partnership could mean. His commitment to community—and his boldness in
stepping into this spotlight—is a reminder of the power of local business to shape our shared future.”
Marchant Crane, based in Sylvan Lake, has long demonstrated its commitment to Central Alberta through regional support and community-minded growth. The partnership with Westerner Park represents its largest and most public-facing investment to date.
“This sign reflects dedication, collaboration and a commitment to a greater mission,” said Chris Marchant, Founder of Marchant Crane. “It’s a statement about who we are and what we believe in. We’re proud to be rooted in Central Alberta, and proud to be part of something that brings people together. I’m excited for where this partnership will go—and how we can grow even deeper connections with the community.”
The newly named Marchant Crane Centrium will feature brand new exterior signage, along with updated digital displays and integrated visuals throughout the venue — marking a bold new look for one of Central Alberta’s most iconic spaces.
This announcement also hints at what’s to come for Westerner Park.
“Partnerships like this are most successful when they’re rooted in shared values and mutual benefit,” said Flint. “Marchant Crane and Neeralta are strong examples of companies that align with our commitment to community and growth in Central Alberta. We’re continuing conversations with
others who share that vision — and while we can’t say more just yet, there’s more to come.”
