Heritage Recognition Award Winners Announced

This year’s winners of the 2016 Heritage Recognition Awards have been announced. Winners include the Danish Canadian Museum which was nominated under the Built and Natural Heritage Conservation, Protection and Preservation Category.

Stephan G. Stephansson Icelandic Society in the Heritage Advocacy, Education and Awareness category.

Bernice Andersen in the Lifetime Achievement Award category and Don Hepburn who was also nominated in theLifetime Achievement Award category.

The awards ceremony was held at Red Deer County Council Chambers on Friday afternoon.
