Alberta’s Craft Beer Industry Exploding In Popularity

It’s been less than 3 years since Red Deer’s Troubled Monk poured their first pint. In that time the award winning craft brewer has expanded several times and has become a poster child for how the beer industry in Alberta is changing. It’s not only about providing a refreshing pint. It’s about teaming up with local businesses and non-profits to host community events. It’s about using local ingredients produced on area farms and growing businesses together. It’s about providing local jobs. In the end, craft beer might just change the way most of us think about beer and the way we consume it.
