A Day For Family!
It was a beautiful day to celebrate Family Day!
On Family Day, Todayville photographer Lindsay Wiebe went down to the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery where an event was held to commemorate the day.
There was something for the whole family including extreme printmaking, splatshot hockey, a snow zone and photo station with Tim Van Horn.
Tim Van Horn is the photographer and creator of the Canadian Mosaic. He has been travelling Canada since the project began in 2008 creating mosaics by taking portraits of Canadians.
On July 1st, Canada officially turns 150 years old. To celebrate the day, Tim’s goal is to have photographed 54,000 Canadians equaling .150% of the population of our beautiful nation.
