Red Deer’s Winter Activity Guide Comes Out November 28th
By Sheldon Spackman and Lindsay Wiebe
Red Deerians looking to get active over the next few months can look forward to the release of the City’s Winter Activity Guide next week.
It will be available online through the City’s website starting at 8:00am on Monday, November 28th. Following that, the Activity Guide will be delivered to homes in and around Red Deer on December 1st and 2nd. Hard copies can be picked up on or after December 2nd at City Hall, the Collicutt, Culture Services, the Dawe, Michener or Recreation Centres.
Registration for all City programs in the guide begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6th. You can do so in three ways, in person at a City Facility, by phone or online.
The Guide is published in the months of March, August and December and helps Red Deerians find numerous activities that take place in the community during different seasons of the year. It contains information about aquatics, arts and culture, clubs, family and community, fitness and wellness and sports programs offered throughout the city, including descriptions of the classes, schedules, locations and costs.
