Is Wikipedia biased?
From Stossel TV
I love Wikipedia! I even donated to it. But I won’t donate again, now that I’ve learned how BIASED Wikipedia has become.
No right-leaning outlets, Fox News Politics, the Daily Wire, the Daily Caller, etc⦠is considered āreliableā by Wikipedia. None. But even some of the most extreme leftist outlets get a “reliable” badge — like āJacobin,” a self-described SOCIALIST outlet. Vox, Buzzfeed News, and Slate are also deemed āreliableā by Wikipedia. Editors may base stories on their reporting. Why did Wikipedia become so biased?
Veteran Wikipedian Jonathan Weiss tells me that the site, like academia, has been captured by leftists. Some Wikipedia administrators even brag on their profiles, “this user is a socialist.” Another put up images idolizing communist murderers Che Guevara and Vladimir Lenin. These administrators make final decisions about what counts as āreliable,” and what goes on Wikipedia. Thatās why for years, Wiki’s “communism” page made NO mention of the millions killed by that ideology. US border facilities are listed under “concentration camps,ā on the same page as Wikipediaās holocaust facilities. Can we fix this? Wikipedia is supposed to be a site that “anyone can edit,” so I made an edit. You can find out what happened in the video below.

Stosselās economic programs have been adapted into teaching kits by a non-profit organization, “Stossel in the Classroom.” High school teachers in American public schools now use the videos to help educate their students on economics and economic freedom. They are seen by more than 12 million students every year. Stossel has received 19 Emmy Awards and has been honored five times for excellence in consumer reporting by the National Press Club. Other honors include the George Polk Award for Outstanding Local Reporting and the George Foster Peabody Award.
Censorship Industrial Complex
Who tries to silence free speech? Apparently who ever is in power.
Now that Trump is running Washington, Conservative thinkers must ponder a new-found appreciation for silencing speech they don’t like.

War on Words: Both Parties Try to Silence Speech They Donāt Like
Donald Trump, before he was reelected, said heād end government censorship. But now that heās in office? He calls speech he doesnāt like āillegal.ā
Free Speech should be a bedrock American value, no matter whoās in office. After the murder of Charlie Kirk, Republicans, who once complained about censorship, became censors. Democrats suddenly flip-flopped. All politicians should remember, the way to fight speech you donāt like, is with more speech, not censorship.
After 40+ years of reporting, I now understand the importance of limited government and personal freedom.

The Green Industrial Complex: Power, Panic, and Profits
From StosselTV
Media portray environmental groups as the underdog. In reality, theyāre the big guys, and today they’re rolling in money.
Whatās worse is how they use it.
First, they peddle scares. They say polar bears are disappearing. They arenāt. They claim bees are dying off. Also not true. They spread these lies to get MORE money.
āHysteria generates donations,ā explains science writer Jon Entine. āThe oxygen for these organizations is money donated by people who think they’re doing good.ā It’s why Big E now receives billions in donations.
Itās bad enough that they lie to us to get paid. But they also use their money to block progress. One group boasts, āIn the past year our legal team has stopped thousands of miles of fossil fuel pipelines and dozens of large power plants.ā
They even oppose solar and wind farms. āIt’s a shame,ā argues Cato Instituteās Travis Fischer, āWhen I think about what America could be … we could be so much more prosperous than we are.ā
Our video covers more ways Big E blocks progress.
After 40+ years of reporting, I now understand the importance of limited government and personal freedom.
