Red Deer City RCMP have released surveillance photos from a gun-point robbery at the East Hill Liquor Depot on Sunday, December 18th.

It happened shortly after 10pm when RCMP say a suspect entered the store at 22nd Street and 30th Avenue and pointed a long barrel shotgun at the staff member while demanding cash. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money and got into the back seat of a waiting parked car, which fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed. The car was seen driving north on 40th Avenue and then turning west on Selkirk Boulevard.

Luckily no one was hurt.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 5’11” tall, slim build and wearing a black hoodie and black balaclava. The suspect car is described as an older red and grey car with metal rails on the trunk. If you have information about this incident, contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
