Top secret documents found at homes of Trump and Biden. A national security crisis? Bunk. – Stossel

Published

2 minute read

We’ve heard about the top secret documents found at the homes of Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The media call it a national security crisis. Bunk.

The truth is, the word classified usually means very little. Government classifies three things every second. “A lot of top secrets are nothing of the kind,” historian Matthew Connelly tells us.

Many classified “secrets” are nonsense or embarrassing proof of government incompetence. I’ll show you why the problem is much bigger than Presidents taking classified documents home.

Free Money? What a UBI Would Really Do to People … and the National Debt

Published on

From StosselTV

“Universal Basic Income” is trendy, but studies show that it makes people work less, and save less.

Conrad Shaw, Vice President of the “Income to Support All Foundation,” believes Universal Basic Income will help people start new businesses and invest in home improvements.

But a study backed by Sam Altman (creator of ChatGPT) tested that theory out. They handed 1,000 people, $1,000 for 3 years. Some of the recipients did make good financial decisions. But overall, the group ended up a little deeper in debt and had a lower net worth!

I’m not surprised. If you give people free money, they’ll work less. Incentives matter. But even after this study, UBI proponents still believe a UBI is a good idea. Is it?

Our new video takes a look.

Kamala Harris’s Track Record: Big Spending, Wokeness, Equity and Flip Flops

Published on

From StosselTV

Kamala Harris is favored to be our next president. So what’s her track record?

As Vice President, Harris repeatedly cast tie-breaking votes to spend more of your money. She was in favor of expensive policies like government taking over all health care. But now that she’s running for President, she’s flip-flopped on that and many issues including: Fracking, mandatory gun buyback programs, policing, and marijuana laws.

She also advocates radical ideas like pushing “equity” instead of equality, and embraces the word “woke.” Our new video covers some of Kamala Harris’ hypocrisies and confusions.

After 40+ years of reporting, I now understand the importance of limited government and personal freedom.
