Symphony Songbirds
Choir Kids is a unique, one of a kind program in Canada, offering the opportunity for up to 1,000 elementary school children in central Alberta to rehearse and perform with a professional orchestra each year.
A collaborative project between the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, Red Deer Public School District Foundation, Red Deer Regional Catholic Schools and elementary schools in central Alberta, these young choirs rehearse and perform with the RDSO annually. Admission is low cost with some circumstances warranting free admission.
Choir Kids just celebrated its 20th Anniversary, having been created for our community by Music Director, Maestro Claude Lapalme in 1998
