Jo(e) Social Media Making The Internet Safer For Children
They’re not just regular Joe’s. They’re Joe Whitbread and Jo Phillips. Together they’re Jo(e) Social Media Inc. These two Central Albertans are the area’s foremost specialists on a variety of social media platforms. Jo and Joe have virtually invented an important marketing service, explaining the ever changing world of social media to area businesses, and organizations. Got questions about the latest platform? Ask Joe… or Jo. In a few short years, the company they’ve formed has made a huge contribution to online marketing in Central Alberta and beyond. In the fall of 2016 the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce named Jo(e) Social Media Business of the Year.
While the two Jo(e)’s have become widely known for Social Media training, content management, and live event promotion.. they’re also carving out a niche where the two share a special passion. That’s in taking the chaotic world of the internet and making it safer for the next generation. Jo(e) Social Media take the message to audiences near and far… speaking to hundreds of students, educators, and parents on a regular basis. Their sessions are a combination of information and entertainment which serve to enlighten young citizens in the beauty, and the dangers of social media communication.
Todayville joined Jo and Joe at a recent presentation to a packed gym at Ecole Lacombe Upper Elementary School.
