Cardboard Stories works to challenge people’s assumptions about people experiencing homelessness by asking the participants to: “Please, write down one fact about yourself.” All of the participants told their stories at Safe Harbour’s Warming Centre in November 2017. These stories were then professionally filmed and combined into video shorts. Please join us at The Hub on Ross for the first screening of the video shorts at 3 PM on December 13. Also shown on that day at 4:00 PM will be the 35 minute video Are you Listening? This film was inspired by the Empathy Program in Central Alberta schools for a short while as well as the personal story of the family of a young woman who committed suicide.
