Red Deer RCMP is sharing this information with local media outlets with the approval of the 41 Signal Regiment in the event that your organizations receive questions from your audiences about the presence of uniformed soldiers in the Michener Hill/ Woodlea/ Waskasoo neighbourhoods on Saturday.

Here’s a note from MCpl Alexandra Ramsay:

We will be conducting Map and Compass/Navigation around the area of Michener/Lindsay Thurber/ Cormack Armoury Saturday between 9 am – 1 pm. There will be NO WEAPONS and NO FULL FIGHTING ORDER.
